So I added some of my favorite links to the left there… see? And now I’m thinking of going back to the old blog. Because if all I want is a list then Blogger DOES that. I was all upset over the blogs not updating in my sidebar, but if I get rid of that feature then the blog works fine. So… what to do, what to do.

Every once in a while an actor plays a role in a movie that is so moving, so mesmerizing, so fantastic that they forever earn the Jason Carlock Free Pass. Tom Cruise earned it in Magnolia. Matt Dillon earned it in The Outsiders. Whoopi Goldberg earned it in The Color Purple. And Adam Sandler earned it in Punch Drunk Love.

The new TV in the bedroom is AWESOME. Funnest room in the house. Not that it wasn’t fun before, but now - well, now there’s TV!

For 10 years Lynette and I believed wholeheartedly that a TV in the bedroom was detrimental to - let’s just say we believed in the philosophy that the bedroom was meant for two activities only. And that the introduction of a 32 inch LCD 1080p HD television was going to tarnish our already stellar reputation in that particular venue.

So as to not embarrass any parents or Republicans who might be reading this, I can proudly say that the TV in the bedroom is good. Very good. (If you suck at reading between the lines, the rep is strong.)

To the guy who used his “lunch” to occupy the seat next to him on the metro this morning: You dick. This happens occasionally, but this jerk was sitting in the special seats supposedly reserved for elderly and/or disabled people. And the train was relatively full. That better have been one kick ass lunch. Like a slice of Lou Malnati’s pizza or an Italian beef sandwich.
